Meet Your Historian
I am Kara Michele Furphy. I have been doing a variety of photography styles since I was 8 years old. When I was a little girl, I was gifted a bright pink canon camera for Christmas - and that set me on my path. Once I heard that shutter, it became the sound of my heart beat. I fell in love with the fact that I could freeze a memory in time, come back to it at any moment.
Raised in Georgia, my wonderful boyfriend Brandyn, my sweet baby boy Jed, and our silly puppy dog Rocky and I have a wonderful life. We live life to create amazing memories…hiking, kayaking, and spending family time together.
